"Extraordinary Value and Great Style, Befitting a Great, Old Classy City."
We discovered the Kensington Park Hotel through a very good 2010 Fodor's Guide review, liked the descriptions on the hotel web site and reserved a room immediately. But, the entire experience was much more than we expected, particularly the attentive and knowledgeable 'major domo,' Bob F. Our room was lovely --- beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet. The amenities were beyond standard, like the nicely appointed bathroom's lighted brass magnifying mirror. An unexpected bonus for us was finding an outstanding Elks Lodge located IN the hotel which we were able to enjoy as members of another Lodge. We will definitely return and encourage friends to stay at the KP as well. Thanks!

"Fantastic Hotel!!!"
After much research I chose Kensington Park for a little bride’s getaway and boy was I impressed! We arrived at 9am to find our room all ready for us (which is nice coming off a 4 hour drive!) We had a royal court double double that had a view of Nob Hill which was gorgeous at sunrise. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable! I wish I had one at home! The robe and slippers made it a bit more luxurious...nice touch! The highlight was when my gal pals and I went exploring the city and when we returned there was a comp bottle of wine and a sweet letter from the front desk with a congrats on our upcoming weddings! That did it for me, I was smitten by that. The hotel is in a VERY good location close to everything! I can't wait to bring my soon to be husband here and show him why I fell in love with Kensington Park! Thanks everyone!!!

We had such a great time in San Francisco. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I learned a lot about the city, your property and the location. I feel confident in recommending the Kensington Park to my clients. The staff was very attentive and I really enjoyed our room. The free internet is definitely a plus and I was happy to see the bathroom had a bathtub, which I used twice! After coming from the B & B in Napa and a very mushy bed, the bed in our room was so firm and comfortable.  We used the valet/park service and they were prompt in getting the car to us as stated. I also loved the location. It kind of reminded me of NY 5th Avenue with all of the shops so close by. I didn’t realize it was that close to upscale shopping. We also walked to Chinatown from the hotel.  My husband did enjoy sherry one evening in the lobby and I took advantage of the tea service.  I wrote a nice review on Trip Advisor and I will recommend the Kensington Park to my clients when they travel to San Francisco.

"The Hotel More Than Met My Expectations!"
My husband and I recently stayed at the Kensington Park for three nights, and I'll have to say that we were wonderfully surprised at what we found for the price we paid. The rooms were very nice and roomy, and the staff was very cordial and helpful. The location can't be beat. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to San Francisco.
